Located 450 kilometers north of Sioux Lookout, Ontario, the Severn River Provincial Park supports a combination of sub-arctic and boreal forest.

There are no visitors' facilities. Backcountry camping and canoeing are some of the recreational opportunities available in the park, which is accessible by float plane only.
